Bleeding Edge won’t be bleeding you dry with microtransactions, according to a developer at Ninja Theory. In a new developer update video, Ninja Theory answered some of fans’ most-asked questions, including where the developer falls on the all-important issue of paid post-release content. In the video, creative director Rahni Tucker talked about the mod system in Bleeding Edge, which allows players to slot different upgrades into their characters. Using different mods, players can tweak their character to do more damage, absorb more hits, or go a stealthier route....

Hello Games has announced that the second of No Man’s Sky‘s shared journey multiplayer ‘Expeditions’ launches today, the Beachhead Expedition. As part of its CES Press conference earlier today, Nvidia announced it will be adding a new feature for its GeForce Experience software, called Freestyle, which allows players to add more than 30 image filters to whatever game they’re playing. Capcom has hinted at a new Resident Evil remake in a recent survey asking for players’ thoughts after the release of Resident Evil 3. The Japanese software house has already remade Resident Evil 2, and the just-released Resident Evil 3, both published in two years. If you’ve accessed the open beta early for MultiVersus, you probably noticed an issue in the tutorial section. Specifically, the Knockback Influence tutorial in MultiVersus has a glitch. Great news for those of you still waiting for a Spyro the Dragon remastered announcement. During the last few hours, IGN has indeed received a mysterious package including an egg and a teaser letter possibly hinting at a reveal of the game. The letter says “something’s about to hatch” and comes together with a package featuring a giant purple egg, something clearly recalling Spyro and his supposed likeness before he, err, turned into a little dragon in the video games....

Nintendo looks to have strong anti-piracy measures in place on the Switch.
