After a week chock full of teasers and feature confirmations, OnePlus took the wraps off its newest flagship phones – the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro at an online event today. Almost everything about the two phones had leaked online prior to the launch but all of it has finally gone official. OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro share the same design DNA this time around, along with curved displays, Snapdragon 865, and well, an IP rating....

Here’s a quick recap! OnePlus collaborated with Oppo to merge OxygenOS and ColorOS. It replaced HydrogenOS in China with ColorOS. Then, the company delayed the ColorOS-OxygenOS “Unified OS” for the global markets after announcing its arrival with the OnePlus 10 Pro earlier last year. And now, out of the blue, OnePlus has announced OxygenOS 13. While this story sounds confusing, OnePlus has decided to provide a bit of clarity as it is has announced that it won’t introduce the Unified OS....

Moss is a delightful game that was released back in 2018. The PlayStation VR platformer told the story of Quill, a mouse who set off to rescue her uncle and save the kingdom from an evil fire-breathing snake. Now we’ve learned that the upcoming sequel will ratchet up the emotion even further. Moss: Book II animation director Richard Lico was interviewed by the PlayStation Blog, and the conversation includes some new tidbits about how the players will connect with Quill in the sequel....

EA and Ghost Games have finally revealed the latest game in the arcade racer: Need for Speed Heat. The game will release on November 5 on PC Origin Access and worldwide launch on November 8 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. This comes after the title of the game was leaked by an Austrian retailer last week. In a press release, Riley Copper, Creative Director retreated that cars are the main focus....

We’re always reporting about claims of toxic workplaces in the video games industry, but the amount of those reports is worryingly increasing, and it doesn’t look like developers/publishers really know how to handle this stuff. One of the most nonsense reactions is the one coming from NetherRealm Studios, where the developer is trying and fixing allegations of toxic workplace and 100-hour-long workweeks by giving its workers the weekend off. The makers of Mortal Kombat have issued a statement following toxic workplace reports coming from Variety, and then offered its employees the weekend off and never let them work after 6 pm....

As if the game didn’t already have a visibility problem. A strange new glitch has appeared in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War that turns players invisible. It’s a rare issue but it absolutely derails any match it happens in. Nobody has been able to pinpoint a cause either, meaning this could just be a completely random occurrence. This Reddit post showcases the issue. While the map and weapon models load in just fine, all of the player models for both allies and enemies fail to render....

Nintendo has announced a VR Kit for Nintendo Labo, which is bringing the virtual reality for the first time ever on the Switch. The kit has been rumored a while ago and Nintendo’s been experimenting with VR for a while before making a final announcement. Toycon #4 VR Kit is releasing on April 12 and features a set of held goggles where you need to put your Nintendo Switch console....
