Welcome back to our usual coverage of Game Pass games. Last week we, unfortunately, didn’t have any new games like usual, but this is likely due to recent events. To make up for it though, the team has curated a whopping nine games that will be coming over the next week. These are focused primarily on turn-based game fans, but there’s some fast-paced and open-world based stuff as well. There should be something that everyone can enjoy....

When gaming peripheral manufacturer Razer launched its own gaming-focused smartphone last year, everyone was wowed by its beautiful 5.7-inch 120Hz display. Turns out, the Razer Phone wasn’t the first phone in the market to sport a display with a 120Hz refresh rate. XDA added that more Sony devices that feature the hidden 120Hz mode. XDA recognized developer Myself5 has confirmed that the Sony Xperia X, Sony Xperia X Performance, Sony Xperia XZ, Sony Xperia XZ1, Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, Sony Xperia XA2, and the Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra also support the screen mode....

You can file this announcement under “unexpected things,” as Netflix has announced they are working on a TV series based on the classic Castlevania video game series. According to io9, the series is coming sometime in 2017, but no further details have been released. However, producer Adi Shankar is reportedly involved, as he’s been making posts on Facebook about doing something with the Castlevania series, saying it will be “dark, satirical, and after a decade of propaganda it will flip the vampire sub-genre on its head....

Apart from the system requirements (which is pretty low, considering the scale of the game) of the most hyped video game of this year, Cyberpunk 2077, developers CD Projekt Red also revealed two new trailers for it recently. Both the trailers are about the “Night City”, the primary location of the game, and its resident gangs. The first video, “The Postcards From Night City”, is all about the city’s social, financial, and political environments....

The announcement was shared on the New World forums, where the development team has shared they have been tirelessly working on the feature to ensure the process is smooth for every player. They also said that more exact dates and information would release closer to the actual release date for all server transfers. It should be happening sometime between October 18 to 22. The server transfers were pushed back to ensure that any player-based wars happening over the weekend could be wrapped up, and it did not occur during their peak times, which makes sense....

The new data from NPD reveals the winners of the console race this last decade. Nintendo’s Switch was able to earn best-selling console in 2019, but the PlayStation 4 reign supreme as the number 1 console of the decade. The information comes based on the findings of Mat Piscatella, a video game industry analyst who is associated with the NPD Group, a market research company. Piscatella shared data that includes what the best-selling console of last year and the overall best-selling console of the decade was....

According to a recent statement by Nintendo, the newly released Nintendo Switch is the fastest selling console in history for the company. Faster than any of the many consoles that Nintendo has launched before, Nintendo managed to sell close to one million units in March according to NPD data. Furthermore, the timing of the release was rather unconventional as most consoles release during the holiday season. A lot of this success has to be due to the coinciding release of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild....

Many Switch and 3DS games were announced and discussed during today’s Nintendo Direct presentation, and one of them was the highly anticipated Octopath Traveler. Lots of new information was given about the game, including introducing two new characters, more information about Jobs and even a release date. The Octopath Traveler section of the Nintendo Direct stream started off by introducing Tressa the Merchant and Alfyn the Apothecary. As a Merchant, Tressa has the ability, or Path Action, Purchase, which allows her to buy items from NPCs that might not be available in shops to other characters....

A few days before the introduction of the new Nord CE 2 Lite in India, OnePlus has now launched the Nord N20 5G in the US. It arrives as a successor to the Nord N10 5G and includes a Snapdragon 695 chipset inside with a new design. Here’s all you need to know.
