The Embracer Group has officially shut down Onoma, the video game studio formerly known as Square Enix Montréal. Embracer purchased Square Enix Montréal alongside Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montréal back in May as part of a deal where Embracer receives full rights to the Tomb Raider and Deus Ex franchises. Next-gen Forza Playground Games, the studio behind Forza Horizon, are in the works for developing a “next-gen Forza project”, according to the LinkedIn profile of Yibo Liu. EEDAR analyst Jesse Divnich offered up his take on a price point for the new handheld coming from Sony, the NGP (PSP2). Sony announced that the price would be “an affordable price that’s appropriate for the handheld gaming space”. Divnich spoke in an interview with GI.biz and he predicted the handheld to come in somewhere between $299 and $350 at launch. Another DLC Bundle has been announced for Batman: Arkham City. The Nightwing character will be available on November 1st, and will come stocked with “his own unique gadgets and special moves”.
