Nintendo may be developing a secret project for The Legend of Zelda. The gaming company wants to hire a level designer for the iconic series, according to gaming news translator Kite Stenbuck. A new job post from Nintendo, which does not list a specific game within The Legend of Zelda franchise, asks for developers who can create events, dungeons, fields, and enemies from “design to actual implementation,” Stenbuck reports. Applicants should have “game planner experience on console games” and must be able to “communicate in Japanese....

Nintendo has announced that Capcom will be bringing Okami HD, the remaster of Clover Studios’ classic adventure game, to the Nintendo Switch this Summer. Okami HD for the Switch appears to be the same one that the PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One got late last year. Of course, this one will be getting Switch unique controls, such as touchscreen controls when used in handheld mode and motion controls when the system is hooked up to the TV or tabletop mode....
Xenoblade Chronicles 2’s director, Tetsuya Takahashi, recently talked to Japanese publication Defifaminicogamer about the game’s development. In the interview, Takahashi revealed that only 40 developers were working on the game while it was in development. Monolith Soft’s developers were apparently split between two projects at the time. CD Projekt RED has announced a brand new partnership that will bring the multiplayer focused, Vancouver-based Digital Scapes among the studios currently working on Cyberpunk 2077.
