Netflix has opened the door for the disabled by casting a blind actress in its limited-series adaptation of Anthony Doerr’s novel All The Light We Cannot See. Newcomer Aria Mia Loberti will play the role of Marie-Laure. The Wrap reports that Loberti’s character is a blind teenager who crosses paths with a German soldier as they both try to survive the devastation of World War II in occupied France. Netflix says that despite having no formal acting training, Loberti beat out thousands of submissions to play this character....

Analog stick drifting has been a complaint since launch of the console. Soon after the launch of the Nintendo Switch in March 2017, consumers began complaining about issues with their Joy-Con controllers. The specific issue was that of drift in the analog stick in the left Joy-Con, which has now spawned a class action lawsuit more than two years later. In a recent interview with Buzzfeed, Neil Druckmann took some time to explain the main difference between the two biggest Naughty Dog franchises, Uncharted and The Last of Us. Apart from the genres – one is a fun and fresh action adventure game, the other is a post-apocalyptic survival action-adventure – there’s something more that makes them so different, at least in the eyes of the creative director. “With Uncharted, a lot of it is bombast and spectacle, and the whole approach with The Last of Us as a franchise is to try to make it as intimate and small as possible,” Druckmann said....
