Ooh dear, the Obi-Wan Kenobi series has been paused, pushed back, delayed, scuppered or whatever term you’d like to use. The reasons for this appear to be a change in the creative team. Writer Hossein Amini is no longer involved, with the scripts that are currently written being scrapped altogether. SlashFilm report that this is partly to shorten the series from six episodes to four. Keeping fairly calm about the news Ewan McGregor, returning to the helm as Obi-Wan Kenobi, insisted that the shake-up is not as dramatic as it would appear....

While we are waiting for OnePlus to launch the OnePlus 10 Pro in India as well as the global markets soon, rumors about an affordable new flagship in the form of the OnePlus 10R have started surfacing. Although the device is rumored to launch in the latter half of 2022, its entire specs sheet has now leaked online. Check out the details below. MultiVersus’ new update today brought a ton of changes to the game’s hitbox/hurtbox system, projectile system, and introduced the new cuddly character: Gizmo from the Gremlins series. Nintendo has and released update 1.10 for its Switch mobile app for iOS and Android and it finally allows users to do what it should have been permitted in the first place: chat while other apps are in use or when your phone’s screen is switched off. As you might recall, the Nintendo Switch mobile app was released back in July as a companion app for the titular console. Unfortunately, the app left much to be desired, with users being unable to do other activities such as look up guides or check messages while the app was active or be able to use it at all if the screen wasn’t on....

The latest trailer for The Outer Worlds explores the communities players can join in the world created by Obsidian Entertainment and Private Division. The premise boils down to if you have any skill to do anything at all, there’s a job for your character on Terra 2. It’s a blend of the wacky and obsceneness of Borderlands and the design and feel of the Fallout series. The nearly four-minute-long trailer showcases a few of The Outer Worlds‘ companies players can join: Halcyon colony or Monarch....

January has been a pretty decent month for games, with some bigger than others coming out. The two big releases on Tuesday are both Digimon World: Next Order and Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers, which are both PlayStation exclusives. Microsoft has released a new Windows 11 preview build to Insiders in the Dev channel today. This is the fourth preview build to release since the Windows 11 announcement. It carries the build number 22000.100 and brings several visual changes & bug fixes to Microsoft’s latest desktop OS. The key change with the latest Insider build is the rollout of the Chat icon of Microsoft Teams in the taskbar. Microsoft had started rolling it out with the previous build, but more users are likely to receive the feature in this build....

Seattle-based video game music publisher Materia Collective has announced the release of the first album in their new series, titled Chamber Works: NieR Automata. The album is the work of composer and arranger Sean Schafianski, who is best known for his previous Remastered Soundtrack series of albums. That series included albums dedicated to Secret of Evermore, Final Fantasy Mystic Quest, and Breath of Fire III. Schafianski worked with groups such as ETHEReal String Orchestra, Videri String Quartet, and The Game Brass to create live orchestra arrangements of the already award-winning NieR: Automata Soundtrack....
