Between upcoming games like the multiplayer battler Bleeding Edge and the action-packed Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, one would think that Ninja Theory is busy enough. But, surprise, the studio today announced an all-new project that looks to continue the company’s deep look into mental health through games like Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. The teaser trailer for its latest game, Project: Mara, was revealed today, and though little is known about it, the studio provided more detail in its Xbox page post....

As of today, Nintendo and Bungie have ceased trading in the Russian market due to the country’s involvement in the Ukraine crisis. It means they have stopped shipping and selling their products to Russia until further notice, and with everything going on at the minute, don’t be surprised to see more developers following suit at some point soon. It was only last week that Nintendo put their Russian eShop into maintenance mode, which means any Switch user in the country is not able to buy digital games of any kind....

Today (September 13), Nintendo held an extensive Nintendo Direct stream to give news about various upcoming games for the 3DS and Switch. Two of the games discussed in the video, which was streamed on YouTube and Twitch, were the upcoming Pokémon games Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Bleeding Edge, the upcoming new game from Ninja Theory, has a release date of March 24, 2020, according to a new trailer debuted at X019. The game will have cross-play between the Xbox One and PC version when it launches. Leading up to its launch in March, Bleeding Edge will be entering closed beta on Feb. 14, 2020. Ninja Theory showed off a trailer for the game during the X019 livestream, showing a new cinematic and an extensive first look at the game in action....

NBA 2K14 is due to arrive on October 1st for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Ned Fulmer has departed The Try Guys YouTube channel. BuzzFeed News reported that photos of Fulmer kissing his colleague Alexandria Herring were leaked on Reddit. Fulmer confirmed in a tweet that he had been cheating on his wife, interior designer Ariel Fulmer. Fulmer’s departure was confirmed in an Instagram post saying, “Ned Fulmer is no longer working with The Try Guys. As a result of a thorough internal review, we do not see a path forward together....

Fans of That ’70s Show officially have something to celebrate with the release of the first teaser for That ’90s Show, a sequel of the original series coming soon to Netflix. The teaser features Debra Jo Rupp and Kurtwood Smith returning as Kitty and Red Forman, heads of the Forman family and hosts to a brand-new generation of teenage troublemakers. The Atelier franchise is an interesting one. In that, there have been over 20 games released in the main series, and I don’t know anyone who has actually played one. With that said, I did spend quite a bit of time with Atelier Rorona on the PlayStation 3. And I enjoyed every second of it. Three of my favorite things in JRPGs tend to be crafting, collecting, and grinding. And the Atelier games have these in spades....

Niantic is getting rid of Pokémon Go cheaters with a pretty effective crusade: Deleting their illegally-obtained Pocket Monsters. The Japanese Pokémon Go Twitter account announced that it would soon be taking some sort of measure to keep the game “fun and fair,” and in this case it seems that means combating anyone who attempts to cheat. Cheating in Pokémon Go is typically achieved with third-party services that can aid you in capturing specific Pokémon, or help you play without actually leaving the home....

Nintendo Switch Online is expanding and will include both Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis games in its library. However, if you want access to these games, you’ll need to upgrade your Switch Online membership to a more expensive service tier. In late October, the manufacturer will be offering Nintendo 64 and Genesis content. In addition, Nintendo has announced that they will be releasing new N64 and Genesis wireless controllers specifically for $49....
