UPDATE: Universal Studios has made an official announcement, which you can read here. Little else is revealed, but more info is promised in the future. The Tokyo branch of the Wall Street Journal is reporting that Nintendo is in talks with Universal Studios for a possible theme park area dedicated to the video game company’s characters. The plan is for a new area to be opened in existing Universal Studios parks, such as Universal Orlando, Universal Hollywood, and Islands of Adventure, though none are currently confirmed as targets....

For those of you who were holding your breath for a sequel on ZombiU can start to breath again. Yves Guillemot, the CEO of Ubisoft, said in an interview with GameIndustry International that this would not be profitable at all. “ZombiU, one of the most popular launch titles for the system with players, was not profitable,” he says. “Not even close. As such, there are no plans (or even desire) for a sequel....

OnePlus has finally made the flagship OnePlus 11 official and it has first reached China. All versions updated today Update 1.04 has arrived for MotoGP 21 and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch. On PS4 the version number is 1.04, while on PS5 it’s 1.006.000. On Xbox One the update number is 1.0.0.5, while on Xbox Series X/S it’s 1.0.0.8. The update is also available now on PC via Steam or Epic Games. November 7 is N7 day for Mass Effect fans. Named after the highest rank of the in-game space military, it’s a day when developer BioWare tends to release special artwork, merchandise, and even game teasers. This year’s celebration includes a lovely piece of art for the next game in the franchise. Revealed on Twitter, the artwork has a simple tagline: “Mass Effect will continue.” We already know a new game is in the works, and as such, Mass Effect fans are putting this image under a microscope to learn as much as they can — or at least theorize about what those tiny characters on the planet’s surface could be....

Daredevil fans can sleep easy as Netflix has confirmed that Daredevil season 2 is coming, sooner or later. A slew of new Fortnite: Battle Royale cosmetics have been found in the game’s files with the new 3.4 update from today, and they have a holiday theme. With Easter Sunday coming this weekend, it seems like a few of these skins will be coming to the store just in time, as they feature bunny outfits, egg back blings, and a carrot stick pickaxe. It’s not all Easter-themed, though, as one of the cooler skins found in the game’s files is called Raven and comes with an epic dark theme....

The build for Injustice 2 continues, as developer Netherrealm Studios has released a third story trailer connecting the game with its predecessor, Injustice: Gods Among Us, leading up to the game’s May release on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The story of Injustice 2 picks up shortly after the events of Injustice: Gods Among Us, with Batman and his allies trying to rebuild their world after Superman, motivated by a tragedy orchestrated by the Joker, decided to bring world peace through taking over the world himself and ruling with an iron fist....

Clementine reunites with “a ghost from [her] past.” The first episode of Telltale’s The Walking Dead: The Final Season came out last month, and now Telltale is already gearing up for the second episode. Today (September 17), a little more than a week before the next episode premieres, a trailer for Episode Two was revealed, which promises an exciting new development. If you start in the NHL you can start your career on whatever NHL roster you want, however, expectations are a little bit higher right from the jump. ResetEra user EvilBoris has shared a pretty in-depth analysis about Nier Automata: Become As Gods Edition, claiming that the game features a fake HDR on Xbox One which makes it even worse than the standard release. According to EvilBoris, the team at Platinum Games only used a technique which is rather similar to upscaling, since the game is said to be rendering “entirely in SDR” and being “expanded” from the regular 8bit to the HDR 10bit....

Breaking or losing one part doesn’t mean you’ll have to buy a whole new kit. It may be overshadowed by God of War, but the first two Nintendo Labo kits also launch today (April 20). These kits can be a bit pricey though, with the Variety Kit going for $70 and the Robot Kit for $80. It makes more sense when you consider that Switch games on their own usually cost $60, and Labo comes with a bunch of cardboard accessories....

No Man’s Sky update Beyond isn’t a stranger to some unusual bugs. From the unplayable crashes occurring on consoles to immovable chairs, there’s a massive list of bugs associated with the new update. It’s expected for games with new, extensive updates to have flaws. This glitch I ran into during my playthrough. I haven’t had any weird crashes, thankfully, but as someone that doesn’t like the standard WASD movement keys and thrives off remapping keys in video games to suit my preferences, you can imagine my shock, and annoyance, when I actually couldn’t change the keybindings....
