Ever since it was announced, Card Shark has gotten the attention of more than a few indie game fans who were intrigued by its combination of a standard card game and outright cheating. It’s set in “a world where you’ll need to play your opponents better than you play your cards” according to developer Nerial, and a new pre-release video reinforces that. The team is releasing a series of videos that will show you not just how to cheat in Card Shark, but how to cheat in real life too....

With the recent tweet from Cyberpunk 2077’s official Twitter handle, they showed that they are not dead and the project is still alive. Maybe their “beep”, was meant to imitate the sound of an ECG to show the signs of life. Splinter Cell fans are going to be excited about this. According to some development sources, a new Splinter Cell game is in production. Looks like Ubisoft is reviving the Splinter Cell franchise. It’s been almost a decade since the last Splinter Cell game, and fans have been asking for a new title. Splinter Cell: Blacklist was released back in 2013. The stealth third-person shooter brought back Sam Fisher as its protagonist and introduced new and old characters to the franchise....

The release of the New Nintendo 3DS has had fans caught up in the rush to grab the two exclusive limited edition handhelds, but one of the key features of the new system is that the covers are interchangable. Nintendo Europe has announced the first wave of covers for the region and their April 2nd release date. Nintendo Europe announced on their Twitter that the new covers will soon be available for the New Nintendo 3DS....

Blizzard might be playing with the hearts of their fans as they add a couple of new voice lines that hint at a possible relationship between the Swiss medic Mercy and the Japanese cyber-ninja Genji. The Overwatch public test realm recently received a batch of new voice lines which Reddit user akhanubis then uploaded to this thread. There are a couple of interesting things in there including voice lines relating to the different heroes stating their New Year’s resolutions, but what really stands out are a couple of conversations that relate to Genji’s surprising affinity to chocolate....

Inside sources for technology blogs may have outed the announcement date and pricing for Microsoft’s Next Xbox. Two separate reports from The Verge and What The Tech have indicated that the Next Xbox is slated for a May 21st reveal. However, the What the Tech videocast has shed even more light on the new console. Thurrott claims that the console is indeed always online, and will be “expensive”. He believes that the new Xbox will cost $500, and $300 with a subscription....

GameStop has begun taking pre-orders for the Nintendo 3DS. The system itself still does not have a concrete release date but sources state that should be sometime in the Spring (March-ish). The system does not have a definitive price at this point either. But if you are less concerned with small things like price and release date, GameStop will be happy to take your pre-order for one of the handhelds. You have to do it in person, the GameStop website is not taking pre-orders as of this time....

The software launch lineup for the Nintendo Wii U will be the biggest on record for the company. A diverse array of games will be available for the new console on day one, with even more set to arrive through the end of March.
