This is the last major update until the full launch in August. The Final Beta update has arrived for Naraka: Bladepoint, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch. This final update for the beta changes how movement in the environment works, making ledge grabs, wall runs, and other parkour moves easier and more intuitive to pull off. Additionally, all of the Heroes have been rebalanced, the Grapple Hook now auto-aims by default, and the new Spear is available for use in-game....

NBA 2K22 has today launched the May 19 update on next-gen platforms, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes with this patch. Today’s update is made in preparation for the anticipated Season 7 of NBA 2K22, scheduled to begin tomorrow, May 20. As such, today’s patch focuses entirely on doing some cleanup and taking care of any bugs reported by the community or found by the developers. Even if the seasons are a bigger sign of this, it’s nice to see the team still offering support as far as bug fixing goes....

During Nintendo Direct, broadcast yesterday as part of E3 2019, the world got their first glimpse of Nessa, the new Water-type gym leader in Pokemon Sword and Shield. Little is known about her at the moment, but we did get to see her start a battle with a Dynamax Drednaw. The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) have claimed that North Korean state-sponsored hackers are using a remote access Trojan (RAT), dubbed BLINDINGCAN, to target American government contractors in the defense, aerospace and energy sectors. The apparent purpose of the attacks, which started earlier this year, is to gather intelligence about key military and energy technologies. The attacks had been detailed earlier by cyber-security firms, McAfee and ClearSky....

Your house won’t count, but soon you can try to make new PokeStops. When Pokemon GO first launched it was populated using data supplied by players of Niantic’s other mobile title, Ingress. This data created spawn locations, but more importantly it supplied the locations of areas of interest that were the home of PokeStops and gyms. In the intervening years, only Ingress players have been able to alter this data through the game, changing and adding PokeStop locations through a long, meandering process....

The announcement of the Evolution Collection Event came with lots of great intended news and exciting updates for Apex Legends. That said, there was one piece of information that had players squinting and looking a little closer. In the patch notes and trailer for the event, there was an extra weapon seen in the Arenas shop. The weapon was labeled “Nemesis Burst AR”. This was an accidental leak, as confirmed by Respawn Director of Communications Ryan K....

In a new Xbox blog post, Phil Spencer has given us new details about the Xbox Series X’s power, graphics, and more. The Xbox Series X’s “custom designed processor leveraging AMD’s latest Zen 2 and RDNA 2 architectures” allows the system to work with 12 teraflops of GPU. Such power would mean pristine graphics, higher frame rates, and bigger game worlds. To get some context, a teraflop is a measure of how many calculations a computer or console can process per second....

Niantic, the company behind the behemoth that is Pokemon GO, will be paying out $4 million to a group of plaintiffs who took a class-action lawsuit against them. The plaintiffs had an issue with how the implementation of the game impacted their lives, as people would repeatedly trespass on their property to play the game and catch Pokemon. One plaintiff had hundreds of people show up to his house, at all times of the day....

An upcoming Nintendo Direct this evening is scheduled to showcase upcoming Wii U and 3DS titles that will arrive towards the end of Spring. Announced on the Nintendo website, the video will arrive on Thursday, Feb. 13, at 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. In the past, the videos have featured Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata introducing the upcoming content whilst a string of trailers for the games are announced. With the recent sales issues of the Wii U still fresh in the memory, it will be interesting to see what Nintendo intend to produce to get back on track....

What is approaching to be a $2 billion series was once up for exclusive rights for Nintendo. Though after consideration, Nintendo decided to pass on Skylands Spyro’s Adventure. Looking back, this was a poor decision on Nintendo’s part. Polygon had posted details of developers Toys for Bob showcasing their hit series Skylands Spyro’s Adventure to Nintendo. At one point, Nintendo had the opportunity to partner with Activison on the Skylands in what would have at least made the first game in the series strictly exclusive for the Nintendo Wii....

According to a rumor, Nintendo is planning to turn The Legend of Zelda in an annual franchise, with a new release per year. Breath of the Wild’s been released in 2016 for Wii U and Nintendo Switch, and Hyrule Warriors has come earlier this year to the hybrid system. This is apparently a clue that more games could be dropping in 2019, 2020, and so on, as part of a specific strategy of Nintendo....

Following various teasers and rumors, Carl Pei’s new venture Nothing confirmed that it will launch a pair of TWS earbuds earlier this year. The company later confirmed to launch its Nothing ear (1) TWS earbuds on July 27. While we saw Pei confirm the global launch prices of the earbuds recently, the India price had been until wraps. Not anymore. The price of the Nothing ear (1) in India has been revealed officially, and it is quite impressive!...

Obsidian has finally revealed their brand new game called “The Outer Worlds” at The Game Awards 2018. You can watch the announcement trailer of The Outer Worlds below. The game looks amazing, and we get a feel that it is BioShock-esque retro-futuristic RPG or Fallout RPG set in space.
