For a generally slow month, as must Junes are, it should come as no surprise that the stellar Super Mario Maker 2 topped the charts for June. This continues a hot streak for Nintendo as not only did they have the top-selling game of the month, they had the top-selling console as well! The Nintendo Switch had another strong month over its competitors as it is the only major console to experience year-to-year growth for June....

During today’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced that Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis games would be coming to Nintendo Switch Online. The Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis games will come as part of an expansion to the current Nintendo Switch Online service. The new expansion will come in the form of an additional tier to the current service. Currently, Nintendo Switch Online has a single-tier system. However, now Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis games will only be available on a new higher tier....

Arcade hoops title getting follow-up to 2017 debut. Saber Interactive has revealed that they will be releasing a follow-up to NBA Playgrounds later this year for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Nintendo Switch. Simply titled, NBA Playgrounds 2, this sequel will introduce a new line-up of online and local multiplayer modes, as well as new courts, and a new ranking system with divisional ladders.
