A group of Dungeons and Dragons adventurers will soon set off on a quest in support of the Autism Society of America and they’re not alone. The MMORPG Neverwinter is joining with Lost Odyssey to help raise funds for the organization when the charity event begins November 15, 2019. Lost Odyssey: The Book of Knowledge is a live Dungeons and Dragons show featuring a party of six cast members led by dungeon master and wielder of the happy fun ball, Deborah Ann Woll....

It’s time for a new Banner in Genshin Impact, and this time it will feature Klee, Sucrose, Xingqiu, and Noelle. The new Sparkling Steps Banner will be live in the game on October 20, at 18:00 server time. As far as banners go, it is not that bad. Klee is considered a higher tier DPS, and Xingqiu and Noelle are both pretty valuable supports. Sucrose is perhaps the lowest tier character included in this Banner; as a Support Anemo character, they simply don’t stack up that well against characters like Venti....

Studio Marvelous Inc. dropped a livestream earlier today for the upcoming No More Heroes III, hosted by design lead Goichi Suda, gaming personality Mafia Kajita, and VTuber Shishiro Botan. Not only were fans treated to an action-packed brand new gameplay trailer, but the livestream showcased tons of other information on new and returning features. The biggest news, however, is the reveal of a physical release of the game, including what will most likely be a Japanese exclusive set of the entire trilogy called the Killion Dollar Trilogy set....

Four months ago, we received official confirmation during WrestleMania weekend that the WWE 2K franchise would be back in business. Take-Two and the WWE in early April announced WWE 2K22, a title that is expected to be the franchise’s first foray into the next generation of consoles. During Summerslam, WWE fans were shown first look into WWE 2K22, plus some new details about the game. Infinity Ward created the technology which powers the Call of Duty Franchise when it released Call of Duty 2 back in 2005. Since then each Call of Duty game has had tweaks to the engine to the increase the performance, graphics, and gameplay with each successive title in the franchise. It appears that the next Call of Duty game will be no different. Robert Bowling, in response to questions on Twitter claimed that it would be “counter-productive” to build an engine from the ground up for the franchise....

EA Sports released NHL 23 worldwide on October 14. On launch day, EA released the first major promo for Hockey Ultimate Team, entitled HUT Spotlight. This promo highlights the some of the game’s major movers from this past off-season, as well as players who will have the “spotlight” on them in 2022-23. Nickelodeon (Nick) has become the first television channel to join the Roblox Metaverse with the debut of its official Nickverse experience. Inside of this experience, players can interact with a variety of notable Nickelodeon characters, including SpongeBob SquarePants, Jimmy Neutron, and Aang, participate in themed minigames and explore numerous Nickelodeon universes. Despite these possibilities, however, many Roblox players are unhappy with Nickverse’s arrival. Since its BETA release on July 6, 2022, Nickverse has been met with mixed reviews....

Almost five years after the monumentally successful system’s launch, Nintendo has reached a major milestone for its Switch Online service. According to a management briefing detailing the company’s second quarter financials for the fiscal year ending March 2022, they currently have more than 32 million Nintendo Switch Online members. This second quarter ending September 2021 marks three years since the Japanese platform holder introduced its subscription service. Within the same report, we also learned that the Switch has sold through 90 million units as of October 2021....

Nintendo has announced that it will not participate in Gamescom 2022, an important video game event in Europe. This was confirmed by a spokesman for the company’s European division. In a statement sent to Games Wirtschaft, a Nintendo of Europe spokesperson explained that the company will not be present at Gamescom 2022. Note that after several years of rest caused by the pandemic, the event will return physically in August....

The Companions update is finally here. Update 3.20 has arrived for No Man’s Sky, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch. This update adds companions to No Man’s Sky, allowing players to tame creatures and keep them as permanent pets. The game already had some taming features, but they were mainly just for harvesting materials from wild animals. Now, creatures can be kept for much longer and can do all sorts of new things....

Square Enix fans have been enjoyed the existing iterations of the Octopath Traveler franchise so far, like the newly released Triangle Strategy. Now there is the mobile version, Champions of the Continent, and it can be played in Beta on Android for some regions. Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent is an upcoming mobile JRPG created by Square Enix. Technically the game saw a release in 2020, but it is not expected for a full Western release until some time in 2022....

Our beloved bald-headed hero returns on February 28th in One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows, a new game based off of the hit manga/anime series that has rapidly become a global phenomenon. The show’s universal humor, memorable characters, and satirical take on shonen anime (and really, on superheroes in general) are not lost in this first official game release for console and PC....

The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures announced that it would screen all Hayao Miyazaki films. The museum’s first exhibit will feature his collaboration works with different Studio Ghibli movies. The official website also noted that there would be production materials “never before seen outside of the Ghibli Archives.” Other films to be presented feature My Neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away. Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli’s Work Miyazaki’s path to international fame has been anything but a straight shot....
