Warner Bros’ upcoming platformer fighter MultiVersus will be joining the EVO 2022 roster. Players can compete in a 2v2 Tournament with a prize pool of $100,000. A closed alpha is available to sign up for players to get some in-game practice ahead of the event. This news was announced via the official MultiVersus Twitter. It states, in part, “MultiVersus is headed to @EVO with a 2v2 tournament hosted by @wbgames awarding the top 32 teams!...

The second update for this version. A brand new Suicide Squad movie trailer has now been revealed during the 2016 MTV Movie Awards. It shows a lot of new footage including a few scenes of Batman. This brand new trailer further emphasizes that Warner Bros. and DC are trying to make Suicide Squad more humorous. It’s going for the dark comedy route as Harley Quinn seems to be the comic relief in the film. An exciting part of the movie is that Batman is included in this new trailer....

Developer Visual Concepts has finally released in-game footage of NBA 2K21’s next-gen iteration. Although there are buckets of sweat to see, the video also displayed new presentation and menu layouts, a highly-requested camera angle, and the introduction of a second commentary team. In the video, featuring commentary from executive producer Erick Boenish and gameplay director Mike Wang, it’s said that those on next-gen will finally hear one of two broadcast teams....

I’ve said a lot of negative things about how Nintendo, specifically Nintendo of America, has handled the unprecedented success of their Amiibo line of collectible figures. Throughout the first four waves of releases they have had limited stock, and communicated poorly. While communication hasn’t necessarily improved that much, they have started to fix the all important stock issues that have plagued Amiibo fans since this all began. It all started with those first three Wave 1 figures....

Nintendo’s financial report for the quarter ending June 30th is out and it paints a pretty ugly picture for the struggling company. Over three months, starting April 1st and ending June 30th, Nintendo sold 510,000 Wii U’s and 820,000 3DS units. Software sales were better for both systems with 4.39 million units of software for Wii U and 8.57 million for 3DS. The big seller on Wii U was of course Mario Kart 8 which accounted for over half of all Wii U software sales with 2....

Looking back it is easy to see that the Nintendo DS was a massive success for Nintendo, featuring big sales and lots of fantastic games being released throughout its lifetime. However, the announcement that the handheld would feature two screens at the time was very shocking, and it was apparently just as shocking when the idea started at Nintendo. Satoru Okada was General Manager of Nintendo Research & Engineering during that time and recently did an interview with Retro Gamer Magazine, where he revealed some interesting backstory on how the idea of the Nintendo DS began....

The release of Team Ninja’s Nioh has been a highly-anticipated one among Dark Souls fans, as the game is poised to offer its own take on the brutal Action RPG genre that From Software kicked off several years ago. Alongside the Reno4 and Reno4 Pro, Oppo also took the wraps off a new fitness band – the Oppo Band – in China today. It comes equipped with an AMOLED display, 14-day battery life, heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring, and a ton of other features. Ori and the Will of the Wisps, the sequel to 2015’s Ori and the Blind Forest, has been confirmed for a February 11, 2020 release at Microsoft’s E3 press conference. The game will be available only on PC and Xbox One. It will also get added to the Game Pass at launch. The release date came at the end of a new gameplay trailer. Ori and the Blind Forest, from Austrian developer Moon Studios, was hailed as one of the best platformers of the generation, and its sequel is looking like a worthy follow-up....
