We have all heard about how Netflix wants to start charging extra money if your share passwords with people other than your housemates, with the OTT platform testing this feature in a few regions. This is now expected to roll out ‘more broadly‘ by this March. In a recent earnings report, Netflix revealed that its paid-sharing initiative will reach more people by the end of Q1 2023, which will provide you with an option to pay more if you want to continue sharing your passwords....

Last week’s Nintendo Direct was full of new information on games we already knew about, but one of the big bombshells happened to be that of a brand new Fire Emblem game for the Nintendo 3DS. While we did get to see footage of the game, most figured we would not see this game until next year, but according to a marketing email from Nintendo of Australia, it may be coming in 2015 after all....

Winter has come and gone, and while the reception to the last and final Game of Thrones season was anything but positive, HBO isn’t done with the icon series. HBO, along with GAEA and Behavior Interactive, has announced a new Game of Thrones mobile game, called “Game of Thrones: Beyond The Wall”, which will arrive on Android and iOS later this year. Game of Thrones: Beyond the Wall will arrive at the end of 2019, and while it will be available for free on both Android and iOS, we can expect some of the in-game features to be available as an in-app purchase....

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will be getting one of its most requested modes as a free software update next month. Nintendo has confirmed that the game will finally be introducing a new second playthrough game mode, also known as a “new game plus” mode, sometime in mid-February. When players complete the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 story, they are be taken back to their previous save point when they reload the game. This allows players to refight the end-game boss as many times as they like, but it also restricts the player from replaying a lot of content....

China is set to have a new PS4 bundle unavailable anywhere else because it includes a copy of Transformers Devastation. As posted on NeoGAF, Sony will be releasing this special PS4 bundle exclusively in China on March 3rd, 2016. The best part of this bundle is that there are two versions to choose from. Pictured above is the Decepticons version of the bundle. However, buyers can also get the Autobots version as well which is colored white....

Rocksteady Studios, best known for their work on the Batman: Arkham series, is known for their quality work in superhero video games. After completing their Batman series, the team moved on to a more unconventional team of metahumans for their next title, The Suicide Squad. During DC FanDome 2021, Warner Bros. unveiled the first official story trailer for the upcoming Suicide Squad game. While the team this time around does have familiar members like King Shark and Harley Quinn, they’ll be taking on the best of the best....

Pokémon games are dominating the 3DS charts right now, with several titles taking over slots in the top 10. A combination of a few different factors is driving the spike in sales. Looking at the U.S and U.K charts, the majority of the list is taken up by the pocket monsters. GameSpot report that Pokémon Red, Yellow, and Crystal currently sit in the U.S top 10. Good Vibes Gaming’s Jon Cartwright shared a screenshot of the UK charts on Twitter, revealing those same three games, along with top spots for Pokémon Blue, Gold, and Silver....

Nintendo eShop could be rebranding soon, as hinted at in legal documents issued while suing a man in Orange Country, California. The man is being sued because of him selling NES Classic Edition and Nintendo Switch consoles modified for running pirate content. In the legal documents, Nintendo uses the wording “Nintendo Switch Online Shop (formerly Nintendo eShop).” That’s quite unexpected and seemingly revealing that a change on the store could be coming very soon, probably to give more relevance to the Nintendo Switch Online subscription....

The Nintendo Switch OLED model was released in October 2021 with various refinements that were mostly aimed at the handheld experience. The sole benefit to those that preferred playing docked came in the form of a LAN port, allowing for wired online gameplay on Nintendo’s hybrid console for the first time. Up until now, that revision of the Switch dock has been exclusively included with purchases of the Switch OLED model....

Nintendo has partnered with Illumination Entertainment to create the first ever animated Mario movie. Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of classic Nintendo franchises like Mario and Zelda, will be overseeing the project as the movie’s co-producer. Illumination CEO Chris Meledandri is also attached to the movie. Illumination is one of the most successful animation studios of recent years. The Despicable Me franchise has made over $3.7 billion at the global box office, with other projects like Sing and The Secret Life of Pets also enjoying critical and commercial success....

Nintendo won’t likely be able to sustain Switch’s demands on a global scale due to the coronavirus outbreak by April, according to a report from Bloomberg. The Japanese platform owner had already informed about risks coming from the outbreak in China, but never shared a precise time involving how and when shortages would happen. Japan is already suffering shortages due to the complete success of the platform, thanks to mobile-payment providers’ cashback campaigns....

If you still have a Nintendo DSi lying around, you might be disappointed to hear that the online shop will be shutting down for good next year. Nintendo released a statement earlier today saying that the DSi shop will be shutting down on March 31st, 2017. Unused points will actually be refunded with prepaid cards so that’s a good thing. “In the future, purchases of Nintendo DSi Ware (below, DSi Ware) are moving from the Nintendo DSi / DSi LL to the Nintendo 3DS series....

No Man’s Sky has today deployed update 3.92 across all platforms, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes with this patch. Today’s update comes following the fairly recent Leviathan expansion, which brought with it an intense roguelike survival game with more nuance than you could ever desire.
