It’s a big week for remakes in Square Enix’s backyard, and the Trials of Mana trailer looks really good. Originally released as Seiken Densetsu 3 for the Super Famicom in 1995, the action RPG hasn’t been accessible to English-speaking audiences. Although unofficial fan translations were released in the late ’90s, Trials of Mana didn’t see an official English localization until 2017’s Collection of Mana on the Nintendo Switch. The new 4-minute video showcases character selection options and the combat system, both of which are highly customizable....

The new bundle gives you money towards your first game. Usually, console bundles come with a new console and a game for that console, so buyers immediately have something to play. However, Nintendo’s newest bundle for their home/handheld-hybrid console, the Switch, is taking a bit of a different approach. Server transfers will be returning after maintenance for patch 1.0.4 wraps up, roughly around 10 AM PT. This time could change, though. Hopefully, there are fewer issues where players won’t be losing anything they bring with them. X-Men: Apocalypse star Karl Walcott and Hadestown star Nicholas Barasch have officially made the casting list as two of the newest additions to season 7 of the CW’s Riverdale. Barasch and Walcott will join fellow Riverdale stars Cole Sprouse, Lili Reinhart, KJ Apa, and Camila Mendes for the upcoming seventh and final season of the popular drama series. Premiering on the CW in 2017, Riverdale is centered around a group of high school students turned unlikely friends and even unlikelier detectives after a teenage girl turns up murdered in the small town of Riverdale....

One of last year’s surprise hits, the existential action-RPG NieR:Automata, has been celebrating its first anniversary lately, with February 23 marking the anniversary of its Japanese release, March 7 its North American release and tomorrow, March 10, its European release. To celebrate the game’s first anniversary, publisher Square Enix will apparently have “some sort of fan event.” In a video recently uploaded by the North American Square Enix YouTube channel, NieR:Automata director Yoko Taro came out and expressed his gratitude to his fans by reading a statement written by Square Enix’s marketing department....

Switch Hacker Gary Bowser is feeling Nintendo’s hammer of judgment. As reported in Polygon, the big N are suing Gary Bowser for selling Switch hacking devices worldwide. The 51-year-old Canadian felon leads a team of hack creators known as ‘Team Xecuter’. Both he and fellow ‘Xecuter’ Max Louarn were arrested and charged on 20 felony counts in 2020. Nintendo alleges in their lawsuit that Bowser infringed on their copyright by selling the Switch Hacks....

The NBA 2K23 was released on Friday, September 9, and the 2K has started revealing the player ratings. The publisher has announced this year’s top NBA & WNBA players‘ and rookies’ ratings. NBA 2K23 published its player ratings, with Giannis Antetokounmpo top of the list and four other players tied for the second. In the latest title, Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Nikola Jokic, and Stephen Curry have a 96 rating, one point lower than Antetokounmpo’s 97....

After yesterday’s cryptic teaser, EA has announced that they will be releasing Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered for $29.99.
