While unsurprising, it’s still got plenty of value. PlayStation’s finally revealed their Xbox Game Pass competitor service, a fusion of PlayStation Plus and PS Now. Long-codenamed “Spartacus” before this announcement, the new service is a tiered subscription with all the benefits of regular PS Plus memberships. Beginning at the second and third tier, however, it lists quite an attractive proposition for PlayStation owners to offer a premium package. The “Extra” tier provides access to PS4 and PS5 catalog hits including PlayStation Studios titles, while the “Premium” tier includes this as well as access to PS1/PS2/PS3/PSP cloud streaming and even a trial period option for select games....

Could this be the first glimpse of the next Halo title which is in the works at 343 industries? While it’s exciting to think that it could be, one thing is definitely missing, and it’s Tom Morello’s signature all over the image. And of course the fact that the radar in the bottom left looks a little suspect. As well as the deviation from the traditional font’s, but hey, it could be a very rough build....

Nintendo is ending 2022 being Nintendo. The day before Thanksgiving, the company put an end to the Smash Bros. World Tour, and now right before the holidays, they have privated a fan-favorite series from their YouTube channel: Nintendo Minute. The decision has a lot of people scratching their heads as to why they would do this, even Kit and Krysta, the former hosts of the show. Nintendo typically doesn’t offer too many sales on their eShop, at least at the frequency of Xbox and PlayStation, but they have now announced the start of the Nintendo Spring Sale. Spanning games on the eShop for both Wii U and 3DS, there are some decent deals in the mix, but still not incredible sales. Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and Pikmin 3 are the two full retail games available in this sale, with Pikmin 3 being a pretty good price considering it is hard to find the game in retail anymore....

The Nintendo Switch’s launch lineup has drawn some criticism due to the lack of games that will be available right out of the gate, though today we learn that some indie games will be stepping in to make things a little better. The big one is Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove and its Specter of Torment expansion, which will also be joined by Fast RMX on the console on March 3rd....

Travis is back, baby! On paper, No More Heroes 3 is a third-person, open-world, action-adventure game with RPG elements. NH3 is so much more than that though. The developer Grasshopper Manufacture, helmed by Suda51, has a long track record of subversive, genre-smashing titles including the previous No More Heroes games, Killer 7, Lollipop Chainsaw, and plenty more. Nordic Games has announced that they are rebranding as THQ Nordic today, utilizing the THQ name they acquired a couple of years back. THQ declared bankruptcy in 2012, auctioning off its many different IPs like Darksiders and Red Faction. The long awaited Beta finally arrives next week. The closed Beta for Mortal Kombat 11 have finally been revealed by NetherRealm Studios. Sentai Filmworks announced on their Twitter that they have officially licensed the My Isekai Life anime.
