A new update patch has been released for the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight. It fixes a lot of things since this version of the game needed the most help. The biggest additions is that Harley Quinn and Arkham Knight have become playable characters. Obviously a lot of technical issues have been ironed out too. The classic arcade game Bubble Bobble is making an unexpected return with a new game mode. Original Bubble Bobble developer Taito Corporation recently revealed that the series is returning with the new installment Bubble Bobble 4 Friends, coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch. While previous games in the series featured single and two-player modes, this new entry gets its name from the fact that it will introduce a new four-player mode. The game is set to be released in Europe on Nov....

A fun featurette by Pottermore explores the ways the worlds of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts are connected. Presented by Jude Law and Eddie Redmayne, who are playing Albus Dumbledore and Newt Scamander respectively in the upcoming movie Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald has made its world premiere in Paris November 8th, 2018 and will soon hit the rest of the world. The featurette explores how the magical worlds are tied together with scenes from all the movies....

Some are returning favorites, others are brand new. There was a lot announced during today’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct stream, including new characters, stages, battle modes, and more characters. Also detailed were a number of new items, including new Pokémon and Assist Trophies. Some are returning from previous Super Smash Bros. games, such as the Gray Fox Assist Trophy, but many are new to Super Smash Bros. A new “super slim” model of the PlayStation 3 is rumored to be on the way. A smaller feature set, which includes a base model with 16GB of flash memory, will come in at a thrifty $150. Today, Grimlore Games and THQ Nordic announced the release date for SpellForce III Reforced for consoles. Needing more time for developing the game had been pushed back from its original December 7th release date. SpellForce III Reforced will be coming to Xbox One and Series S|X along with Playstation 4 and 5 with a release date of June 7th. Bringing the SpellForce universe to consoles SpellForce III was initially released on the PC back in 2017....

In a new clip at the 2022 Game Awards, we finally got to see more of the Super Mario Bros. movie after only having two trailers which many fans feel we didn’t get to see enough. Chris Pratt is doing an excellent job at voicing our beloved Mario…yes it is different from what we are used to, but it is still a good job for what it is. Honestly, to me, it doesn’t sound like Chris Pratt at all, while many fans have voiced they think it sounds just like him....

But don’t get your hopes up for a new character announcement. About two months ago, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate stole the show at E3, as it was revealed that the game would include every character that has ever appeared in the series, as well as introducing Metroid‘s Ridley as a newcomer, an inclusion that fans have clamored for for a long time. It was also revealed that the game would be coming out this December, leaving half a year open for more information to eventually come out....

Xbox One Backwards Compatibility updates were teased for last week by Xbox boss Phil Spencer that failed to arrive as promised. While Spencer told fans they would be hearing news about the popular Xbox One feature, apparently the announcements will come this week instead. Spencer took to Twitter to relay the news, but didn’t give an exact date and time we could expect the updates on Xbox One Backwards Compatibility. “I apologize,” said Spencer....

Activision is rumored to be revealing the next Call of Duty title by May 1st. Numerous retail outlets have begun to out the next game in the shooter franchise as Call of Duty: Ghosts. Today, the mega-publisher launched a new page on the callofduty.com web portal, one that asks fans to help in creating a mosaic for the new game. The page will add user profile pics from either Twitter or Facebook if given permission, which is aiding in building an image which seemingly builds towards the reveal of the game....

Niantic has mastered the art of mobile releases with its development of Pokemon GO and Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. But now it’s teamed up with Qualcomm, a telecommunications equipment company, to create experiences on a much larger scale. The two will work together to create AR glasses with accompanying software and cloud components, according to a report from VentureBeat. All the details on the partnership weren’t made available yet, but we do know that they’ll bring together two key technologies — Niantic’s Real World Platform and Qualcomm’s CR2 hardware....

Niantic has posted a new statement regarding its stance on banning accounts in Pokemon Go. The developer further wants people to play fairly without any add-ons. Here’s Niantic’s announcement on the Pokemon Go website: “We continue to work to ensure the integrity of the game and the health of our servers by blocking unauthorized access and at times by banning offending accounts. This includes blocking bots, data scraping operations, and banning end user accounts associated with those activities....

Nier Automata has been a mysterious game from the start. At the beginning of last year, we learned about a “final secret” that allows players to skip right to the end of the game. As it turns out, there may still be another mystery to solve, and that possibility has left the Nier community baffled. It all started a few months ago when a Reddit user named sadfutago asked how to “open the church” on the Nier subreddit....

The Nintendo 3DS has been through a lot of different models over the years. It looks like Nintendo hasn’t stopped as two new models have just been announced. At Nintendo Direct, the company announced they will be releasing two new 3DS models. One is called the “new 3DS” while the other one is called the “new 3DS XL”. They’re basically upgrades for the two current models out in the market and comes with a number of improvements....

The previous Nintendo Direct in September was filled with a lot of choice announcements, with the upcoming final Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fighter, who turned out to be fan-favorite Sora, as well as a host of new games for the late 2021 and early 2022 season. However, retro gaming fans were treated to news that they would soon be able to play Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis games on the Nintendo Switch Online service via their upcoming Expansion Pack tier — but pricing was not announced then....

No Man’s Sky is a huge game that is set to have billions of planets for you to explore. Surprisingly, the file size for the game will be relatively small compared to many other AAA titles out there. No Man’s Sky’s creator, Sean Murray, tweeted out: “For those asking – size of No Man’s Sky on disc is just 6GB. A lot of that is audio“. 6GB is quite puny compared to other games that are up to 50GB....
