In case you missed the memo, Nintendo has announced that starting this month it officially stops taking in 3DS and 3DS XL consoles for repairs. However, the New Nintendo 3DS, New 3DS XL, and 2DS models will remain unaffected for now. As reported by Pocket Gamer, the Kyoto-based developer and publisher stated that it has run out of parts to repair the hardware via its Japanese website. Nintendo already said that the company is going to discontinue 3DS repairs since last month because spare parts are running low....

New system update Update 12.0.0 has arrived for the Nintendo Switch, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch. A new Nintendo Switch update has arrived for the console, although sadly it doesn’t come with any new and amazing features. Microsoft has started rolling out a new beta build for the Office app on Android. The new Insider build bears the version 16.0.13127.20012 and comes with a few feature additions. Alongside this, the Redmond giant has added the ability to let users issue voice commands on Word for typing. You can use it to undo, delete, format text, and start lists. You can get started with the feature by opening a new Word document on Microsoft Office mobile and tapping the microphone icon present to the bottom right corner....

Earlier today, Netflix announced a brand-new slate of children’s animated series to be released on the streaming platform. According to executives, the new shows are part of an increased push to create a family-friendly space on Netflix and a space for kids to experience on-screen diversity. John Derderian, Vice President of Animated Series, published a blog post on Netflix’s official news site this morning, announcing that the series would be bringing back animated favorites such as Boss Baby, which first debuted as a 2017 movie, followed by Boss Baby: Back in Business in 2018 and a sequel to the original film in 2021....

Netflix will edit scenes in the hit series Squid Game. These scenes display a real person’s phone number, which has lead to a series of prank calls for the person. Certain scenes from the South Korean series have potential Squid Game competitors receiving a card with a phone number on the back. The Hollywood Reporter says that this is an actual number belonging to a South Korean businesswoman who is receiving 4000 prank calls a day referencing the show....

The new Dead Rising 3 DLC “Fallen Angel” is available on Xbox One today, for $9.99, Microsoft announced Tuesday on Xbox Wire. Players can get the new downloadable content on the Xbox One store. If they bought the season pass for $29.99 it will be free, if not players will have to pay the regular price. Fallen Angel involves a new character fighting to keep a group of survivors safe from the corrupt government present in Dead Rising 3 while trying to survive the zombie outbreak in Los Perdidos....

PS4 owners who sign up for PlayStation Plus later this year will still be reaping the benefits of the premium subscription.
