It was recently announced that there will be an original character included in the upcoming fighting game Dragon Ball FighterZ called Android 21. This is a character that never appeared in the Dragon Ball Z manga or anime, but that was created by Akira Toriyama specifically for this game. According to Siliconera, Android 21 is a scientist whose genius rivals Dr. Gero’s. It is stated that she will play a big role in Dragon Ball FighterZ‘s main campaign story, which will tell an alternate timeline story heavily featuring Android 16....
This fall 343 Industries will introduce episodic content to Halo 4 with the inclusion of the new Spartan Ops mode. This episodic downloadable content will allow for the continued telling of the Halo 4 story, and keep players coming back for more than just multiplayer, month in and month out. New details come out of an interview with CVG, and place the fiction driving content occurring about six months after the events of Halo 4’s main storyline....
Pokémon surprised the internet on October 21 when they unveiled the first look at several new regional variants from the upcoming Pokémon Legends: Arceus game. A familiar silhouette appears in a cryptic video told from the perspective of a young trainer documenting Pokémon in a snowscape. While Zorua and its evolution Zoroark will make appearances in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, they’ll have a white coat with streaks of red throughout. The stark change suggests that the Pokémon evolved to withstand the cold temperatures of the environment, like most regional variants, have in other iterations of Pokémon games....

2016 is the 20th anniversary of the Pokemon franchise and the series is being celebrated in style all year around, from giveaways to new games. We already got Pokken Tournament earlier this year, along with the VC release of the original games, and we know Pokemon Sun and Moon are coming later this year, of which we’re going to be getting new information very soon. Ichiban Kasuga returns. It appears much like the funk, the Yakuza series will go on, with Sega confirming that a new title featuring “New Yakuza Series” protagonist Ichiban Kasuga will be coming to the PlayStation 4. For those who don’t recall, the “New Yakuza Series” is a project that tells the stories set in Kamurocho following the conclusion of Yakuza 6: The Song of Life. The first among these, Yakuza Online, is a free-to-play title on smartphones and PC which tells the story of Ichiban Kasuga, a A former wakashu of the Tojo Clan’s Aragawa family....
EA Access first launched back in 2014 as a subscription service that was exclusive to Xbox One, which allows players to experience the EA game backlog for a monthly fee. They have been really good at adding games pretty often, including the annual sports games and now yet another has been added. February saw the addition of Madden NFL 16 in honor of the Super Bowl and now they have added another sports title to the EA Access library with NHL 16....
Nintendo adds Bluetooth audio support to the Switch. Finally, four and a half years after being released, Nintendo has added Bluetooth audio support to the Switch. In a surprise hardware update on Tuesday of this week, Nintendo has added update 13.0 firmware; which finally unlocked the ability to connect Bluetooth audio devices directly to the Switch console. Now we can throw out those off-brand Bluetooth adapters! Until this update, the only options for audio usage on the Switch were the (average at best) speakers, or wired headphones....
Goicha “Suda 51” Suda surprised his fans earlier this year with the formal announcement of a No More Heroes sequel, following the success of the previously released spin-off Travis Strikes Again. Today, more information about the title came out during a live stream on IGN Japan, with two returning characters highlighted. The first is Kimmy Howell, who previously debuted in No More Heroes 2. Designed by character designer Mari Shimazaki, she’s taken more of a diva form this time around....

Early November’s X018 has seen Microsoft revealing the acquisition of two more studios, inXile Entertainment and Obsidian Entertainment. The latter’s been known for its works on role-playing games and the latest project from them is Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire. Now, with the acquisition from Microsoft, of course the studio is starting to nurture new projects we’ll probably learn about in the future. We’re beginning to learn the first details of what this project is going to be about....
The original Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee is currently free on Steam for PC players. The promotion will last until tomorrow, so be sure to grab the game while you can. OnePlus is all set to launch it’s 2019 flagship devices, and this time around, there will be two devices at the same time. While leaks and rumors around the phone have been doing the rounds for quite a lot of time, as we near the launch date for the phone, the leaks have become more pronounced (and probably a lot more accurate). Moss: Book II is the sequel to the original Moss, a VR action-adventure game, both of which launched exclusively for PlayStation VR. Moss eventually came to other VR platforms, and Moss: Book II is following too when it comes to Meta Quest 2 this summer.
