Developed by Mechanical Head Studios and Aarne Hunziker, the game offers up some Ninja Gaiden inspired action-platforming goodness, with 8-bit style layered on top. Cementing how excited many players are based on the trailers, the game is being published by Yacht Club Games, the makers of Shovel Knight. However, a video game industry analyst has broken down the hardware sales of each home console and handheld that Nintendo has released, and it does not paint a pretty picture. A NeoGAF user recently uncovered a patent that Nintendo filed for a very unique looking controller. It’s possible this could be an early design for one of the few controllers we may see for the Nintendo NX console. As you can see from the picture above, the controller is shaped like the letter U and has a d-pad on the left and face buttons on the right. Early estimates indicate that the unstoppable Switch has struck gold again. Market research and consulting firm Niko Partners estimates that the Nintendo Switch has sold approximately 50,000 units on its launch day in China, according to a tweet from senior analyst Daniel Ahmad. Niko came to these numbers through data collected from online retailers and their own market model. According to Niko’s estimates, the Switch appears to be on track to sell 100,000 units in China....

Developer NIS America held their annual press conference last night in San Francisco, where they revealed the release dates of most of their games that will come to North America and Europe this 2017. Among them we find the eagerly anticipated third entry in the Danganronpa series, the first brand new Ys game in eight years and Disgaea 5 Complete, which will be the company’s first release for Nintendo Switch....
So it looks like Valve won’t be showing off any new games this year at E3. According to a batch email sent out by the developer, there’s nothing to show this year at gaming’s biggest event. So if you were holding out hope for a Half Life announcement, it looks like its going to have to wait another year..at which point Valve will dash your hopes yet again.
