Fans of The Matrix trilogy have a reason to get excited. A new trailer for The Matrix Resurrections, the upcoming fourth addition to the franchise, was released today with tons of homages to the original 1999 film. PC Gamer gave a breakdown of the trailer, noting several images that appear to be deliberately based on the first film. For example, characters portrayed by Yahya Abdul-Mateen, Jessica Henwick, Telma Hopkins, and Jonathan Groff superficially resemble Morpheus, Switch, the Oracle, and Agent Smith respectively....
Understandably, Nintendo is in a tight situation. The Wii U has not been the success they hoped it would be, with it selling roughly half as much as the Wii during the same time frame. They recently had to announce a price cut due to the Ps4’s $399.99 price tag. Nintendo has officially announced the midnight launch details for the Nintendo 3DS which is due out on the 27th. Of course Nintendo will be celebrating its midnight release in grand fashion at the Union Square Best Buy in NYC. But there are plenty of other locations across the country where you’ll be able to pick up one of these handhelds come the stroke of midnight on the 27th. It appears that Nintendo may offer to fix people’s Joy-Cons free of cost. The Nintendo Switch uses special kind of controllers called Joy-Cons, which are detachable strips that are a part of the portable Switch screen. Certain Joy-Cons would cause random inputs, even when it isn’t being touched. This issue would be nickname as the Joy-Con drift, and it received widespread attention after Kotaku published a report on it. The word “drift” comes from how the thumbstick from the controller would recognize movement and start drifting, even though the thumbstick isn’t being touched....
Nintendo has surprised fans with the announcement of Metroid: Samus Returns for Nintendo 3DS during its E3 2017 Treehouse live stream. The game is a remake of the classic Metroid II: Return of Samus for Game Boy developed by Mercury Steam. It features a classic 2D appearance with characters and environments designed on 3D, with certain skills triggering a spectacular change of perspective in order to throw special attacks. As Nintendo explains in their note, the game features some additions to the selection of moves and abilities of the protagonist, Samus Aran, such as the powerful Melee Counter, 360-degree Free Aim Mode and mysterious Aeion Abilities....
Apparently, GameStop has taken a lot of pre-orders for the Nintendo Wii U. So many that they’ve already closed pre-orders for both SKUs of the console and have formed a waiting list. This waiting list will basically put you in queue for your chance to pre-order the console in an effort to get you a console on day one. The waiting list is only open to Power Up Rewards Members through GameStop, but at this point, the company isn’t making any promises about arrival dates for the console....
According to a leaked cover art, No Man’s Sky is going to feature true multiplayer as soon as the new Xbox One version releases complete with the much anticipated and dubbed ‘revolutionary’ update NeXT. While we don’t have any solid detail about whether this could be done or not on the currently existing game, the cover art which has slipped off in the last few hours shows indeed a number of four explorers on it, hinting at the possibility that a full-fledged co-op mode could be on its way....

Destiny 2 is a massive game, with an active community that takes developer Bungie up on in-game challenges and speculates about boss mechanics that didn’t make it into the full game. The new My Hero Academia game for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, titled One’s Justice, is only confirmed for a Japanese release but it appears very likely that it will headed westward in the future as well.
