After months of deliberation, the National Labor Relations Board today issued a ruling regarding the unionization attempts of the Raven Software QA department. In a blow to Activision Blizzard, the NLRB found that the group of Raven employees was indeed eligible to hold a union election to officially establish the Game Workers Alliance. Rocket Arena, the explosive new 3v3 shooter coming from Final Strike Games, is set to release in a matter of days on July 14 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. But a Nintendo Switch version is nowhere in sight. Big news for fans of the Neverwinter series, as Perfect World and Cryptic Studios have just announced that the game is finally coming to PlayStation 4. It is set to launch by the end of this Summer and will include all 9 of the game’s expansions, as well as eight playable classes. Gamestop has revealed a new blue colored Xbox One S console. This cool looking bundle comes with a copy of Gears of War 4 and will be out later this year. Gamestop announced the new Xbox One S console on its website. Not only is the console colored blue, but the controller is decked in the same color. It only comes with the 500GB model so no bigger hard drives are available at the moment....

Wave 3 DLC will include content along the way such as a new playable character Jeritza, who has appeared in Garreg Mach but only for a few quests. There will also possibly be support conversations with him in them. New online features and activities will be available, as well. For paid DLC in the third wave, Anna will become playable once again. There will even be a paralogue that involves Jeritza and Anna....

With more and more shooters moving into the battle royale genre, heading into the future, or stepping back into the past, there is an argument to be made that there is a growing need for a modern-day shooter. World War 3 is hoping to fill that void and the brand new gameplay trailer released at Gamescom seems to reinforce that. During a Nintendo Direct broadcast, Nintendo has announced several new games, including some of the most anticipated series’ comebacks and debuts on Nintendo Switch. First, as an opener to the broadcast, the Japanese platform holder has revealed that Luigi’s Mansion 3 is coming to Nintendo Switch as soon as 2019. It’s a working title for the moment. All we know is “Luigi’s back and ready to capture more ghosts,” and that the game is “launching exclusively” for the hybrid console....

Ni no Kuni II is our pick for one of the most anticipated games of 2018. The development work on the game at Level-5 Studio is going on pretty smooth and PlayStation fans are hoping that this game sees no more release delay. In my opinion, the game is well on track to release on March 23 for PC and PS4 (Xbox One port is not in development at all)....
