After a few rounds heated streaming battle, Netflix has officially landed the rights to a series adaptation of They Both Die at The End by Adam Silvera. The series, based on Silvera’s bestselling YA novel, will be produced by Bridgerton creator Chris Van Dusen, along with executive producer Drew Comins and Entertainment One, otherwise known as eOne. The project will also reportedly feature music from hit superstar Bad Bunny. Published in September 2017, They Both Die at The End centers around the unlikely duo of socially anxious Mateo Torrez and street-smart foster kid Rufus Emeterio after the two boys both receive calls from Death-Cast, a company with the ability to predict people’s deaths....

It’s been 10 years since the Fight Night franchise entered the ring, though if recent reports are to be believed, fans may get their Fight Night Round 5 wish. In a VGC report, writer and reputable Battlefield and Call of Duty leaker Tom Henderson claims to have sources with inside knowledge on the project. According to those sources, Fight Night Round 5 has already entered early development, but that doesn’t mean you should expect its arrival any time soon....

The official full-length trailer for Kristen Stewart’s new drama Spencer dropped today. A teaser trailer had been released earlier last month, but this is the first full trailer demonstrating the trials and tribulations of Diana Spencer. Spencer revolves around Princess Diana and her decision to divorce herself from Prince Charles as well as the lifestyle she had come to know. With Netflix’s The Crown winning several Emmys and gaining notoriety for another depiction of Diana’s courtship with Charles, this topic is certainly popular....

PlayStation 5s and Xbox Series X/S are still hard to come by for a lot of players, so most are stuck with outdated consoles like the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Fortunately, many companies are still releasing newer games on the previous generation of hardware. Techland will be releasing Dying Light 2 on the PS5, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X. Following rumors that new external SSDs for the Xbox Series X/S would be released soon, pictures of the drives in question have surfaced online. The leaks, courtesy of Windows Central, show boxes for two new drives, one from Microsoft and a third party one from Madcatz. Microsoft will be releasing a 512GB version of the external card that they currently sell. Currently, Microsoft only sells a 1TB external SSD for the Xbox Series X/S systems....

Apple expects to ship over 100 million iPhones next year. It’s a massive number to throw down, especially when the smartphone sales have slowed down. The device may be registered as a ‘computer with communication function’ but Apple is only filing the patent for the display and the broken line outer shell of the device is there for reference....

EA has delivered on its promise, as the company released a slew of information on the new title, including console info, new gameplay features, and the release date. There’s no doubt that Nintendo has had remarkable success with their DS and Wii brands in recent years. They’ve baffled the competition by selling both products at breakneck pace, year in and year out. As Nintendo transitions from the DS/Wii era to the 3DS/Wii U era, investors and analysts alike have had their concerns about innovation within the new product lines. Nintendo’s President, Satoru Iwata, recently spoke about how the new consoles “realize what has been impossible” for the older hardware despite seeming like only “improved versions” of former products....

Reggie Fils-Aime took the stage for Nintendo at the company press event and has officially dated the 3DS device for March 27th in North America. The handheld will cost 249.99 at launch and will be available in two colors: Cosmo Black and Aqua Blue. The handheld will ship with a 2GB SD card and charging station. Gamestop has begun taking pre-orders for the device and it’s sure to be a hot ticket item this Spring, so run, do not walk to your local game store and pay them to hold one for you....

According to Gaming Intel, there’s a new Nintendo Direct on its way, apparently already set for later this week. Based on sources which have reportedly proven reliable, the next Nintendo Direct should be airing as soon as Thursday, April 11. As precised by the website, “there is currently no official confirmation in regards to what’ll be showcased, nor are there any rumors floating around.” Anyway, it’s worth noting that previous Nintendo Direct broadcasts have aired on Thursday, which makes the rumor a tiny bit more believable....

It seems that Nintendo of America will be shutting down its customer support forums after more than a decade. Certain “top member” posters officially recognized by Nintendo have allegedly been sent an email warning them of the forum’s closure, according to a user on Reddit. “Going forward, we will focus on the many other Nintendo support options that have greatly expanded over the last decade,” says part of the email. Nintendo of America currently has a support page with various articles on popular topics, as well as ways to contact it directly including through chat, text message, phone, or submitting a help ticket....

Nintendo promised a big showing at E3 2017 and according to the plans they released today, they’ll be delivering just that. While we won’t be returning to the large scale press conferences of the past, the company has a number of big things to discuss in their usual Nintendo Direct format. This includes upcoming Switch games like Super Mario Odyssey. “As part of Nintendo’s plan to deliver news about upcoming games all throughout the year, the company will provide a packed week of activities at the E3 video game show, which runs from June 13 to June 15 in Los Angeles,” reads the press release....

Nintendo Switch online is still pretty much a mystery at this point. Fast forward another year, Nubia seems to have perfected the recipe as it’s launched the Nubia Watch alongside its Red Magic 5S gaming phone earlier this week. The new OLED Nintendo Switch will be releasing later this week, but one enterprising YouTuber has already done a teardown and revealed that the new dock included with the console is 4K ready. The teardown was done by YouTuber Nintendo Prime. He found during his teardown that the new revision of the dock includes the parts necessary to output 4K. Although this does not mean that the OLED Switch can output 4K, it could be that the dock has been future-proofed for an unannounced 4K Switch....
