Having launched the OnePlus Watch globally last month, OnePlus has started rolling out a new software update with version B.40. It is currently rolling out the update to customers in the U.S. and Canada and improves the functionality of the smartwatch. According to the announcement post on OnePlus forums, the update improves the GPS performance and the accuracy of activity tracking while walking and running. In addition, OnePlus has optimized its heart rate monitoring algorithm via this update....

1995’s Mortal Kombat is a mixed bag of a film filled with over-the-top acting, spotty (at best) CGI, and some questionable creative decisions. But, one thing this movie got right was its epic soundtrack, more specifically the song “Techno Syndrome”. A24 released a new trailer on September 17 for their upcoming film The Humans. The film is based on a one-act play by Stephen Karam that premiered on Broadway in 2016. This production will see Karam make the jump to the big screen. The film had a premiere at the 2021 Toronto International Film Festival on September 12, where it largely received positive feedback from critics. We all know Final Fantasy Versus XIII, the most interesting project in the quite disappointing Fabula Nova Crystallis story arc, was halted at some point and finally turned into the Final Fantasy XV we’ve all played in 2016. NHL 23 has not exactly been a smooth release for EA Sports. The first several weeks of NHL 23 have included a myriad of HUT issues, as well as AI and gameplay bugs that have brought the franchise to arguably its lowest levels since the start of the Xbox One/PS4 generation of games. The next Pokémon Direct will take place on Jan. 9, Nintendo announced today. The NPD Group has released the sales information concerning the month of January in the United States, revealing that PlayStation 4 was the best selling console during that time. This makes the third consecutive month that Sony’s console takes the top place, since the release of PS4 Pro last November. Apparently, there are many out there who believe that the Apollo 11 moon landing was a hoax. Using the new Maxwell GPU, Nvidia has digitally rebuilt the iconic photo of Buzz Aldrin and the lunar module. Arguments had been made that the lighting in the old photos didn’t add up, and that the astronaut was lit by an auxiliary light source, some thought a Hollywood studio. Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn has officially entered a first-look deal with CBS Studios. News of the deal comes three years after Vonn’s retirement from ski racing after winning Gold and Bronze medals for the US Olympic Team in Alpine Skiing; Vonn has entered the deal with CBS as the head of Après Productions, after premiering a documentary on HBO.
