While Oppo’s former subbrand and now sister company – Realme is taking the fight to Xiaomi in the budget and mid-range segment, Oppo does not want to be sitting ducks. Oppo K3 has today been launched to compete in the sub-Rs. 20,000 segment in India, offering users an all-screen experience, pop-up selfie camera, VOOC 3.0 charging, and more.

Oppo K3 has been priced starting at Rs 16,990 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage base variant in India. You will, however, have to shell out Rs 19,990 for the high-end 8GB+128GB variant.

Well, you can clearly see that Oppo K3 has been priced exactly the same as Realme X in India. If you’ve been keeping an eye on the latest smartphone releases, you would know that Oppo K3 is basically a Realme X clone with a minor difference in specifications. It offers a similar 3D curved polycarbonate back panel design we’ve seen on the Realme X, just with different gradient patterns.

This smartphone features an almost bezel-less 6.5-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED fullscreen display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 2340×1080 pixels resolution, and DC dimming in tow. You can see in the video above that it has been made possible thanks to a pop-up selfie camera module. There’s an in-display fingerprint sensor available on the front as well.
