There comes a certain point in our lives where video gaming will be overshadowed by growing up. Working long hours at a job, raising a family, paying taxes, our virtual selves can easily slip away. That’s why the folks at Opera GX have developed a new service where gamers will be able to commemorate their digital lives with the world’s first Gamer Graveyard.

Bury Your Digital Friends in the Gamer Graveyard

Anyone can generate a virtual tombstone in the Gamer Graveyard. In splendid 2D 8-bit graphics, the digital cemetery can host a grave with several different options. These include different stone skins, nicknames, eulogies, and dates for “last seen online” memories. Once you create the tombstone, you can then share it through social media for others to see.

The Head of Opera GX, Maciej Kocemba, shared more about the Gamer Graveyard when it comes to the metaverse:

Gamer Graveyard is accessible to anyone who wishes to create a tombstone for their virtual memories. The land will be infinite, giving players plenty of room to share their memories with. You can view the graveyard right now by visiting gamergraveyard.gg.
