Our favorite One Tree Hill stars are back together again! In a small One Tree Hill reunion on Wednesday’s episode of the CBS Sophia Bush show Good Sam, all three leading female OTH alum actors, Sophia Bush, Hilarie Burton, and Joy Lenz, are finally reunited on TV. While they may not be reprising their iconic roles as small-town North Carolina girls, it’s heartwarming to see them all together again. This is the first TV collaboration Bush, Burton, and Lenz had had since their days on the CW’s One Tree Hill back in 2009 when they starred as Brooke Davis, Peyton Sawyer, and Haley James Scott.
All Together Again on CBS’ ‘Good Sam’
Good Sam is a 2022 medical drama show on CBS that stars Sophia Bush leading as Dr. Sam Griffith. According to the show’s description on CBS, Bush’s character, Dr. Sam is “a gifted heart surgeon who excels in her new leadership role as chief of surgery after her renowned boss, Dr. Rob “Griff” Griffith, falls into a coma.” On Wednesday’s episode of Good Sam, Amy Taylor (Joy Lenz) is admitted to the hospital and has signs of premature heart disease. Amy’s sister Gretchen (Hilarie Burton) is also there at her side, and Sam (Sophia Bush) ends up being Amy’s doctor. In this One Tree Hill reunion, all three stars are finally on screen together again and have us reminiscing the OTH days and suddenly hearing Gavin DeGraw’s “I Don’t Want To Be” playing over and over in our heads.
