Overwatch fans hungry for more lore concerning their favorite four-legged mechanical tank are in for a treat. An official Overwatch novel called The Hero of Numbani is set to release on June 2nd, 2020.
Written by Nicky Drayden, Overwatch’s The Hero of Numbani will delve deeper into Orisa’s and Efi’s past. The official synopsis is as follows:
This action-packed Overwatch novel features the fan-favorite characters Efi, Orisa, Doomfist, and Lúcio in an all-new, original story straight from the minds of the Overwatch game team and critically acclaimed author Nicky Drayden!
Not only with this Overwatch novel focus on Efi and Orisa, but also “offers a glimpse into Talon’s machinations in Numbani, and provides some must-know hints at things to come”. The Hero of Numbani isn’t the first narrative written about our favorite heroes. Three short stories were released over the past few years to the delight of fans.
