Several months after unveiling the Nokia 9 PureView at MWC Barcelona, HMD Global is finally looking to bring the device to India. The Nokia Mobile India Twitter handle (@NokiamobileIN) on Thursday started teasing the launch of the much-awaited phone with a 24-second video that advertises ‘ultimate focal length control’ on the penta-cam device. The tweet doesn’t reveal either the launch date or any pricing info, but it comes with a $699 (around Rs. 49,000) price-tag in the US, which might give an idea about how much it will cost in India.

The Nokia 9 PureView also offers multiple biometric options like most modern smartphones. It comes with software-based Face Unlock, and is the first Nokia-branded smartphone to bring an in-display fingerprint scanner. It also comes with wireless charging and is IP67-certified, denoting water and dust resistance. It packs a 3,320mAh battery and runs Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box.
