During the E3 2019 press conference to launch its ‘SUPER’ graphics cards, Nvidia officially confirmed that its Ti-series GPUs have been laid to rest for good. Rumors about a so-called RTX 2080 Ti SUPER, however, have continued to persist, even though the company specifically clarified that the GeForce GTX 2080 Ti was a one-off, and there are no plans to launch any more Ti-branded 2000-series cards going forward.

Nvidia announced its new GeForce RTX SUPER graphics cards during E3 2019 last month as replacement for the Ti-series cards it has been launching for the better part of the last decade. There was, however, some confusion about whether the company still intends to launch at least some Ti-branded GPUs in the future, given that the RTX 2080 Ti is already in the market. The latest reports, though, should now clear up all those rumors and speculations.
