The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is full of Easter Eggs. Little things here and there reference the older games. Sometimes these are obviously a reference, such as classic clothing, weapons, and gear. Other times they’re kind of up in the air, like when some players found what appeared to be a dilapidated Lon Lon Ranch. Thanks to a new post from Nintendo’s official Facebook account, we now know that this is indeed a true Easter Egg, with them asking if the location makes “you feel nostalgic for anywhere.”

So it looks like this spot, which can be found to the south east of the Sacred Ground Ruins and to the north west of the Bottomless Swamp, is truly meant to reference Lon Lon Ranch from Ocarina of Time. This is certainly not the only little nod to previous games like this. There are tons of locations that look and feel like past areas in previous games, some are official like the Temple of Time, while others are like Lon Lon Ranch.

With all the things that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has, it’s almost surprising that we’re already talking about new content being added. That’s what we’re doing though, with Nintendo announcing the contents of the first paid DLC package last night. Players have a lot of stuff to look forward to, such as new gear, some of which are also references to past games, such as Majora’s Mask.
