One month after patch 1.2, EA Sports released a new update for NHL 21, which will go live on December 3. This patch will address numerous gameplay, Be a Pro, and Franchise issues, including bugs that caused tripping penalties to be missed and a fix to low overall players receiving the captaincy. Additionally, EA Sports has also added a ‘Max Average PING’ setting to Hockey Ultimate Team. This change now means that if users back out of a HUT game upon being paired with an opponent, the individual who leaves will be charged with a loss, regardless if the move was made before puck drop.
