One of the hidden gems of 2012 was Dragon’s Dogma. People put it on a pedestal as one of the best action RPGs of the decade, and they aren’t wrong. The game has some of the best combat systems of these years, a nice story, and just freedom to approach combat the way you want. With that in mind, when players heard that a sequel was in the works, the hype went through the roof. Now, people are even more excited because it seems that, according to the developers, some Dragon’s Dogma 2 news could be coming soon. Hopefully, 2023 is the year when we see something from the upcoming game.

The Director of Dragon’s Dogma 2 says more news is coming in 2023

During an interview with various Japanese game developers, Hideaki Itsuno, Dragon’s Dogma 2 director claims more news is coming. This is great for those who have been eagerly waiting for more updates on the game. While Capcom has been quite busy with games like Resident Evil or Monster Hunter, it is nice that we’ll be getting a new RPG soon. The fanbase behind Dragon’s Dogma is huge, and there are a lot of players who remain to play the first game over and over due to how easy it is to get back at it.

Still, if there is one thing that we are hoping comes with the potential news of Dragon’s Dogma 2 is something about the character customization. While there are some mods that improve upon this part, we hope we get something similar to Monster Hunter Rise. The first character customization of the game is a bit dated now so hopefully, it’ll get better. For now, we’ll have to wait until 2023 arrives and all announced games by Capcom launch. One of those is the Resident Evil 4 Remake which isn’t far away now. Without a doubt, 2023 seems like a good year for Capcom and we hope it is.
