One of the main quests of the Soulwarden storyline in the new MMO New World is known as “Destiny Unearthed.” You will be tasked with finding an item known as a Heartgem. The quest itself isn’t too hard, but there are a few details some players may overlook. This guide will show you how to complete the “Destiny Unearthed” Quest in New World.
How to Complete the “Destiny Unearthed” Quest in New World
To begin the Quest, you will need to go to Fisherman’s Bend and talk to Yonas Alazar the Hermit Fisherman, who will ask you to find him an item called a Heartgem. Its important to know that the recommended level for this mission is level 25 and is much easier in a group, so to make this quest as easy as possible, make sure you are at least this level and get a party together. Once you are ready, you need to head to the Amrine Excavation which you can find in the northern area of Windsward. Once inside the area, you will need to traverse the mines until you find an area called the Obelisk Cavern near the top of the Amrine Excavation. Here you will find the boss Simon Grey, who protects the Heartgem.
New World: How to Defeat Overseer Zane
Grey will spawn a few mobs to aid him, but if you are at least at the recommended level and in a party of a few other players, then you should have no problem murdering the beast. You must know that once he is defeated, he does not drop the Heartgem. To find the Heartgem, you must look to the right of the Expedition Exit portal and find a bench that is glowing blue. Loot it to pick up the Heartgem you need. Now that you have the item, you can use the Expedition Exit portal to leave and head back to Fisherman’s Bend. Turn the quest into Yonas and you will receive your reward, which consists of a Tier III Soulwarden’s Ring, 5000 XP, 80 Gold. and 100 Azoth.
