In New World, the Engineering Trade Skill allows you to craft long-range weapons — Muskets and Bows — as well as a variety of tools and quality of life items using specific recipes in the Workshop or Forge Crafting Station. The Workshop is one of the two Engineering Crafting Stations in New World that’s used to craft recipes of Muskets, Bows, Ammunition, Tools, Furniture, and Decorations. The Forge is the Engineering Crafting Station that allows you to craft recipes of War Hammers, Hatchets, Great Axes, Swords, and Shields, as well as a number of Tools and Apparel in New World. Where to Find Recipe Blueprints/Schematics for Crafting in New World

For some items in New World, you can permanently gain the knowledge of an item’s recipe through crafting blueprints or schematics even if your Engineering skill hasn’t met the level requirement. Usually, the schematics can be found in various Supply Crate, Supply Cache, Ancient Coffer, and Ancient Urn. If other players put a Sell Order on them you can also buy them from Trading Posts.
