The upcoming atmospheric horror game by Ebb Software and Kepler Interactive, Scorn, received a brand new gameplay trailer during the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase 2022. First announced in November 2014, the horror-based shooter will officially be coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on October 21st, 2022.

Scorn Gameplay Trailer and Details

The new Scorn gameplay trailer was shown during the June 12th, 2022, Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase. It provided a fuller look at the news for the upcoming atmospheric horror shooter by developer Ebb Software and publisher Kepler Interactive. The game was first announced in 2014, and this is the second gameplay trailer we received, the first released in October 2020. This new Scorn gameplay trailer is our first full look at the biomechanical labyrinth the game takes place in, inspired by the works of H.R. Giger.

The main focus of the new Scorn gameplay trailer is the game’s disturbing setting: a desolate hellscape once home to a thriving civilization and now lying in ruin. When the player awakens isolated and lost within a living labyrinth, they must fend for themselves as they become surrounded by visceral, fleshy contraptions and denizen creatures.

Each encounter must be carefully considered as players have limited ammunition, health, and resources. They must unravel the mystery of the world around them by solving intricate puzzles in search of unsettling answers.

According to the official press release:

Scorn is available to pre-order for $39.99 (Standard Edition) and $49.99 (Deluxe Edition) and comes to Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on October 21st, 2022.
