A great year for Pokémon as Sword and Shield releases two great DLCs, Pokémon GO releases new generations of Pokémon, and Pokémon Café mix hits off. This does not stop the positive outlook for Pokémon as a rumored release has been credited a few sources. With that, there’s a possible chance that next year we will see Sinnoh remakes or even a possible Let’s Go game.
Pokémon Hints at Sinnoh Remakes
A recent event was announced for Pokémon GO. On New Year’s there will be a special event called “2021 The Space Sunrise Live.” In this event, they will be using the AR technology of Pokémon GO to showcase legendary Pokémon flying through space. Not much is given but the idea of Time and Space is present in this event. This could very well be a hint to possible Palkia and Dialga resurfaces in a remastered game. Not only that but the content being shared on the Pokémon Twitter. New Palkia and Dialga balloons showed up in a Japanese mall and an announcement of trading cards. This seems to be a rumor so far but don’t let it go by easily. There is still a very good chance for some Sinnoh remakes, which I wouldn’t be complaining about.
New Let’s GO! in Johto
Another rumor that has been circulating will be a new Let’s Go game. Previously released as Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee, this game was a popular release for the younger crowd. It’s a game in which Pokémon run around and your goal is to use the Switch system to throw Pokeballs to collect them. Similar to the app Pokémon GO but on the Switch. This would be bringing forth the Johto region in the gameplay style of Let’s Go. Hints can be seen in the background of the recent Pokémon Presents, showcasing stuffed Pokémon from the Johto regions.
