With the release date rapidly approaching, fans are eager to see more of the brand new Metroid game. Earlier today, Nintendo released another new Metroid Dread trailer for the Nintendo Switch entitled “Find Your Power”. Running super-short at only 30 seconds, the new Metroid Dread trailer gives fans a look at some of the enemies Samus will have to take down in the game. Animal-like robots aside, the new trailer shows Samus facing off against a scorpion-like alien with a thrashing tail and poisonous attacks as well as a crocodilian creature wearing a metal collar. Metroid Dread is scheduled for release on the Nintendo Switch on October 8, 2021. A digital preorder is now available for $59.99. GameStop has a special edition preorder available for $89.99 that includes the physical game, a “haunting” steel game case, five high-quality art cards with key art for each 2D Metroid game, and a 190-page art book spanning all five entries in the 2D Metroid saga.
The Galactic Federation dispatches a special unit consisting of seven E.M.M.I. robots to the remote planet ZDR, believed to be the source of the transmission. Soon after arriving on ZDR, the whole unit vanishes.
