During a Nintendo Direct broadcast, Nintendo has announced several new games, including some of the most anticipated series’ comebacks and debuts on Nintendo Switch.

First, as an opener to the broadcast, the Japanese platform holder has revealed that Luigi’s Mansion 3 is coming to Nintendo Switch as soon as 2019. It’s a working title for the moment.

All we know is “Luigi’s back and ready to capture more ghosts,” and that the game is “launching exclusively” for the hybrid console. Together with the news, it was revealed that the remake of the original game for Nintendo 3DS is featuring co-op.

Second, a new Animal Crossing game has been announced for Nintendo Switch – finally. The title is said to be “mainline” and “slated for a 2019 release”, exclusively for the Switch.

We were only provided with a quick teaser at the end of the presentation, so details are pretty sparse on that as well. During the Direct it was also revealed that Isabelle is joining the battle in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
