Indie developer PolyCrunch Games has partnered with publisher Firestoke to summon forth Falling Out for players to finally check out. Arriving sometime this year, Falling Out (stylized as FALLING OUT) takes folks on an adventure through a pixelated ancient temple. While there is no release date as of yet, there is a playable demo on Steam right now. Interested roguelite fans can wishlist the title to stay up-to-date with its progress.
FALLING OUT Begs You to Ascend the Temple Without a Drop
Falling Out follows the perilous yet cartoony journey of a couple’s vacation gone horribly wrong. Giorgio and Felicie, who were simply looking for a little getaway, will now have to literally get away from enemies, traps, and an impending flood. Set in a roguelite structure, one or two players must continuously ascend and traverse levels while exploring different kingdoms, treasures, and dangers. Each level goes through procedurally-generated to keep the experience fresh, but the flood is a constant threat. Avoid the flood, but most importantly, don’t leave your partner behind. Falling Out‘s announcement from PolyCrunch and Firestoke also comes with a new trailer for players to check out.
