The new Dragon Age Game from Bioware will apparently be heavily focused on story and characters according to Bioware GM Casey Hudson.  Hudson recently took to Twitter to give fans some new information about the game.

At this point when we’re talking about EA and the need for “Live” elements, this usually means they are looking for something people will continue to sink money into via microtransactions.  Bioware’s other big game in the works, Anthem, was recently announced to be delayed for the same reasons.

It’s still too early to tell anything about either of Bioware’s upcoming games, but the developer’s most recent release in Mass Effect: Andromeda was one of the most disappointing games of 2017.  A game that had incredible hype to live up to after the Mass Effect trilogy, Andromeda was panned by critics for failing to live up to the standards of the other games in the series.  Dragon Age is Bioware’s other long-running and beloved franchise and those fans whom Hudson is addressing certainly have reason to worry considering the utter drop-off in quality and story telling that we saw in the last Mass Effect game.

With the reported delay of Anthem to 2019 and with this new Dragon Age game being unannounced at this point there’s no telling when fans should expect to start hearing news about this next RPG from Bioware.
