Netflix has given a look at the upcoming Mila Kunis film Luckiest Girl Alive with its trailer (seen below). The film is based on the 2015 book of the same name by Jessica Knoll. The script was written by Knoll and directed by two-time Emmy nominee Mike Barker (The Handmaid’s Tale).
The trailer of Luckiest Girl Alive shows Mila Kunis as Ani FaNelli, who has everything going for her professional and personal life. She just got a job as an editor for The New York Times and has a loving, wealthy fiancée. Things turn upside down when she and her fiancée meet up with some people, one of which is someone who doesn’t initially remember her but is from a dark part of her past. More starts to get dug up when a documentary filmmaker approaches her about an incident when she was in high school. The ball starts rolling as people find out what happened, and she must tackle her past.
