Netflix has officially announced the production of House of Ninjas, an upcoming Japanese drama detailing the lives of modern-day ninjas who are forced to adapt to the modern world while still preserving their stalwart traditions.
House of Ninjas, based on a story by Kento Kaku, Yoshiaki Murao, and Takafumi Imai, will follow the fictional Tawara family, the last ninja family in Japan who were forced to abandon their traditional roots after “an incident” took place, according to Deadline, but are now forced to take on “the greatest crisis in Japanese history” that threatens to shake the nation to its core. House of Ninjas will star Kento Kaku (Tokyo MER), Yosuke Eguchi (7 Secretaries), Tae Kimura (Prior Convictions), Kengo Kora (Shin Godzilla), Aju Makita (Shoplifters), and Nobuko Miyamoto (The Ice Ruts).
