The 3.25-carat ring also featured a hidden halo of 24 smaller diamonds and eight yellow small diamonds.

Meanwhile, Erich opted for a custom ring with an oval-cut diamond, set on an 18k handcrafted gold band. The stone was accented by a hidden halo of 22 smaller round diamonds and eight yellow diamonds. Like Rachel Recchia’s engagement ring, it weighed approximately 3.25 carats.

What The Engagement Rings Say About The Bachelorette Stars

During an interview with People, The Bachelor franchise jewelry designer reflected on each ring used in the show’s nineteenth season, sharing details of every behind-the-camera moment leading to the men’s final choices. Addressing Tino’s engagement ring, Neil admitted he noticed an air of excitement and nervousness around the Bachelorette finalist that proved he was genuinely in love with Rachel.

According to the pro jewelry designer, the contractor wanted his choice to reflect his love. Hence, he struggled to pick out the perfect ring for the flight attendant, paying cognizance to the special meaning behind the shape of each diamond. In the end, The Bachelorette contestant, who has since split from Rachel, zeroed his choices down to two special engagement rings. Neil said:

The choice was no easy one for Erich Schwer either. Before coming up with his 3.25-carat jewel, the 29-year-old took his time selecting the perfect one. He questioned everything about each ring, from the shapes of the diamonds to the design.

Neil disclosed The Bachelorette finalist maintained a joyous mood throughout the selection process while expressing his love for Gabby. Finally, he settled for the oval-shaped diamond, which caught his eyes from the onset. The jewelry designer shared:

Overall, Tino and Erich did a great job at picking engagement rings that suited the taste of their respective bachelorette. Neil admitted the events played out like a poetic twist, with each man knowing exactly what to go for. Even more poetic was how Gabby and Rachel, each described their choice rings to him at the beginning of their journey, without realizing just how similar their picks were. That proves just how deep their bond runs, which is the ultimate reflection of their friendship.
