As you begin playing My Time at Sandrock, one material that may confuse you at first is Dinas. While it is a very common building material in the game, no obvious indicators tell you where to find it. This guide will provide information on obtaining Dinas in My Time at Sandrock Early Access.

How to Get Dinas in My Time at Sandrock

There are three main methods for obtaining Dinas in My Time at Sandrock:

  • Break Gravel rocks surrounding your Workshop.
  • Dive into the Eufaula Salvage Abandoned Ruins to encounter some while mining in regular stone.
  • Buy them from the Eufaula Salvage shop.

Harvesting Gravel Rocks

The main method to obtaining Dinas in My Time at Sandrock is breaking Gravel Rocks outside of your Workshop. You’ll find these orange-brown rocks near cactus trees and large boulders. You will also need a Pickhammer to break them. The gravel rocks are not to be confused with Hard Rocks, which are more difficult to break and do not drop Dinas.

Eufaula Salvage Shop and the Abandoned Ruins

Early in the game, you unlock Eufaula Salvage as a place to farm scrap. You’ll also find elevators bringing you down to the first Abandoned Ruins area unlockable in the game. You’ll randomly find Dinas alongside stone and clay as you mine the ground within the mines.

Near the Eufaula Salvage site is a small building housing a store. Enter this building to find a cash register. Interact with the register to access the shop. You’ll find numerous resources in this shop, including Stone, Ores, Data Discs, and Scrap. Included in the shop is Dinas. Depending on the Market price percentage, Dinas will range from 8 to 10 Gols for each one.
