Player First Games and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will finally add Black Adam as a new character to MultiVersus on Monday, October 31. This comes after a brief delay, as MultiVersus had already promised that Black Adam would join this week. There will be three main moves for the character as well.

Black Adam and New Arcade Mode are On the Way

We received a few additional insights about how to play as Black Adam in MultiVersus. According to his character card, Black Adam will be a Bruiser, not a Tank, as many might have expected given his resemblance to Superman’s archrival. However, the new MultiVersus character has the same ability to fly briefly as Superman.

Black Adam uses his electric prowess to assist allied movement or damage while shocking and perhaps crowd-controlling adversaries. Additionally, Black Adam’s actions may be a little more agile than we first believed.

  • Lightning Surge — Black Adam unleashes electric power to shock enemies and electrifies allies.
  • Aton’s Havoc — Black Adam grabs and shocks enemies with a jumping beam of lightning
  • Heru’s Flight — Black Adam briefly gains the ability to fly in any direction.

The game’s previously mentioned Arcade Mode will likely join Black Adam when he adds MultiVersus on Monday. It makes sense that the mode was also slightly delayed along with Black Adam since they were both introduced simultaneously. MultiVersus director Tony Huynh has revealed that you’ll be able to play through Arcade Mode with a buddy as it will feature co-op.

The movement of Black Adam has yet to be observed in action. However, those serious about taking on the new role will not have trouble seeing Black Adam’s power in MultiVersus on Monday.

Black Adam made more than 150 million dollars worldwide, and it’s the most significant start of all The Rock movies.
