In the uber-competitive budget segment of India, dominated by Chinese phone makers like Xiaomi and Realme, Motorola has been struggling to find a strong foothold for the past few months. The Motorola One Power may have been one of the only devices in the company’s catalog to gain mass acceptance last year. Hence, Motorola is today expanding its popular One-series with the launch of the Motorola One Vision in India and it features a lot of firsts for the company.

The Motorola One Vision comes only in a single configuration with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, which has been priced at Rs 19,999 for the India market. It will be available in bronze and sapphire gradient color variants, with sales starting next week exclusively on Flipkart.

Motorola One Vision brings along a complete glass build, which is an upgrade over the metallic build of the One Power, and Gorilla Glass has been used to give it some added protection. The first highlight of this smartphone will obviously have to be the display.

Another first for this smartphone will have to be the chipset, which isn’t a Snapdragon or Mediatek chipset that it has used before. Instead, Motorola One Vision is powered by the Exynos 9609 chipset from Samsung. It’s an octa-core chipset clocked at 2.2GHz and has the Mali-G72 MP3 GPU aboard to handle your gaming needs. This is paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, expandable up to 512GB via microSD card.

The smartphone offers you the usual connectivity options, including a USB-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack, which would be much appreciated by the users. However, we’re impressed that a mid-range smartphone in the sub-Rs 20,000 price bracket has an IP52 rating, which means it’s safe against minor water splashes and you shouldn’t fear using it near pools.
